Theres a video on youtube that gets to the heart of the story of Christian the Lion in just over a minute and it has nearly 10 and a half million views.

It only takes a minute to bring a lump to your throat. If you watch this get the hankies ready for the re-union scene...

I want a lion!

I'm just wondering if he was released into the wild... how'd they find him?

He was introduced into the wild by George Adamson so they'd have been someone keeping tabs on his whereabouts. At least at that stage. Think they lost track of him not long after.

Theres a DVD called Christian The Lion at Worlds End

Not seen it yet but I'll have to some stage

Theres a new book coming out soon that tells the story from the owners point of view. I read an extract from one of the papers and thats what made me want to see the video on youtube.

For a moment I thought Christian was going to be able to post "the humans who raised me" in the "What did you eat last?" thread.

Ha ha They were told that he was a wild animal and wouldn't remember them after all that time.

When they called to him like he was a cat and he started to run at them....eveyone thought they were "lunch" apart from them that is.
